LogicStar AI is a well-funded Swiss startup, affiliated with the ETH Zurich AI Center and INSAIT, pioneering self-healing software that enables AI agents to autonomously detect and fix errors in code, increasing developer productivity, reducing downtime, and improving system reliability.

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team and build the foundation that powers our cutting-edge LLM solutions. You will design, deploy, and maintain the cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices that enable us to ship reliable, scalable AI products. Working closely with the founders and engineering team, you will play a critical role in shaping how we build, deploy, and operate our systems—from development environments to production workloads.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Cloud:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud services and their surrounding infrastructure.
• Implement infrastructure as code to ensure reproducible and version-controlled environments.
• Manage and optimize cloud resources across compute, storage, and networking.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity of critical systems.

DevOps & Automation:

• Implement security best practices across infrastructure, including access controls, secrets management, and network security.
• Develop cloud-native services following best practices on observability and security.
• Develop internal tooling and automation to improve developer productivity and operational efficiency.

Software Engineering:

• Design systems that are scalable, reliable, and easy to operate.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and provide infrastructure expertise during product development.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and AI/ML infrastructure.

Mandatory qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with at least one Python web framework (e.g., FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (we use Terraform).

Personality:

• Hands-on and happy to build. Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment.
• A strong sense of ownership and pride in the reliability and quality of your work.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and workloads
• Experience with observability stacks (Sentry, Grafana)
